Entry Requirements

You don’t need to have a final diploma (matura) to apply. A certificate of secondary school completion and basic English skills are enough.
You may be required to present an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent qualifications. Entry criteria vary by university and course.

The Foundation Year is a paid programme, usually at the same tuition rate as undergraduate courses (around £9,250 per year).
However, students with pre-settled or settled status in the UK may apply for a tuition and maintenance loan that covers the entire course – including the Foundation Year, if enrolled in a 4-year integrated programme.
